UPDATE 10/30/05
Thank you all for participating in the survey  - it was a great success, and we received over 100 responses.  We will be reviewing this input and incorporating it into the programming for the church.  This written program will describe the likely needs of the congregation over the 15 to 20 year planning term, based upon the survey and our completed interviews with the various committees.  A congregational meeting is scheduled for noon on Sunday, November 6th, to gather any remaining comments and review the program.  We look forward to seeing you there!

UPDATE 10/7/05
We are nearly complete with our committee interviews.  In addition to the committees mentioned in our last update, we have met with the UMM, the Board of Trustees, Stewardship, Missions, and Fellowship/Nurture Committees. In the next week we will be meeting with the Children's Council, Youth, Young Children, and Children's Ministries, the Puppet Advisory Council, and the Children's Library Committees.  We have also developed a short online survey so we may gather additional input from the congregation, and would certainly appreciate all responses.  This survey will be available from October 7th through October 24th, and you may find a link on this page as well as the LTUMC homepage.  Paper copies will also be available in the narthex should some prefer to complete the survey by hand.  The survey is a valuable step in our programming process and we hope to have a representative response from as many families as possible.  The survey is "blessedly" short and we expect one to complete it in under 10 minutes.  Thank you all for your continued participation.

UPDATE 8/31/05
We have been quite busy conducting our interviews with the various committees at LTUMC, and have completed half of them.  To date we have met with the Staff, Worship, UMW, Administrative Council, Lay Leadership, Music, Adult Council, Finance, Staff-Pastor-Parish Relations, and the Communications Committees.  Through this process we have been getting to know your most apparent needs, but also those which may not be so apparent on first review. We continue to be impressed by the community LTUMC fosters and look forward to learning more about your many activities and programs as we wrap up these interviews.  Thank you for all of your input thus far.  A special thanks to Henry Niehaus, as he has been invaluable in setting up these interviews - his work is truly appreciated.
