Golf Tournament Benefit - hole sponsors, golfers. Lake Travis United Methodist Men started an annual golf tournament at a local golf course several years ago. It has grown to a multi-church event that is a major source of income for Crisis Ministries.
Diaper Drive - summer collection for diapers which are always in need
Austin Habit for Humanity - Habitat for Humanity volunteers build homes for low-income families who are willing to provide "sweat equity" and are able to pay for their home with an interest-free loan. Find out more about Habitat for Humanity here.
School Shoes & Backpack - congregation gives tennis shoes and backpacks to area school children.
Hearts & Hallelujahs Benefit - Lake Travis United Methodist Women hosts a dinner/band/silent auction. Proceeds benefit area charities that help women and children. For other UMW mission projects click here.

Kristopher's Gifts – stuffed animals for children's hospitals
The CROP Hunger Walk is a benefit for local & national agencies fighting hunger. It is neighbors walking together to take a stand against hunger in our world. Together we raise awareness and funds for international relief and development, as well as local hunger-fighting."
Some of these cleaning supplies for flood victims go to the UMCOR Sager-Brown Disaster Response Center in Baldwin LA where they are available for disaster response anywhere in the world. Others remain in our area for neighbors when Lake Travis floods. Visit UMCOR for bucket contents.
2009 VBS kids made fleece blankets for needy children, bags of grace for the homeless, and soft bears for hospital children. They rode and learned about PET (Personal Energy Transportation), a hand-cracked tricycle for individuals who have lost the use of their legs to disease, birth defects, or landmines.

Through the healing ministry of the church, Good Samaritan provides state of the art medical/dental care through annual missions, education and in-country health care facilities. Find out more here
In recent years we have sent work teams to Mexico, Alaska, Costa Rica, Nicaragua with the Rainbow Network, and Vietnam with the Good Samaritan Medical Mission. Several individuals go on mission trips around the world.
