Go and make disciples of all nations; feed the poor, clothe the needy, visit prisoners, care for orphans & widows; act justly & love mercy; faith without works is dead.

Lake Travis UMC has a great heart when it comes to helping our neighbors. We spread God's word, are involved in worldwide witness, and do works of mercy and compassion as the hands of Jesus. We reach out to our local community, our state, our nation, and around the world.

In recent years, we have sent work teams, medical personnel, and individual missionaries to places around the world – Alaska, Mexico, Costa Rica, Haiti, Nicaragua, Romania, and Vietnam. Each summer our youth participate in middle school and high school mission trips.

The congregation gives monetary and in-kind contributions to the local food pantry, Christmas projects, missionaries, and United Methodist missions around the world.
