MISSIONS
The Lake Travis United Methodist Church has great heart when it comes to helping our neighbors. In recent years we have sent work teams to Alaska, Costa Rico, Nicaragua with the Rainbow Network, and medical personnel on the Good Samaritan Volunteers in Missions to Vietnam. Our Lenten offering has gone to help this United Methodist Medical team to Vietnam. 

Each summer our youth participate in a middle school missison trip and a high school mission trip through United Methodist Youth In Mission (UMYIM). 

In addition to monthly donations for the local food pantry, Lenten and Advent/Christmas projects, on going missional opportunities abound. Every year we collect new packages of underwear on Mother's Day for Undie Sunday. On Father's Day we ask people to bring new socks that can be donated to the Crisis Ministry Program. To celebrate the Children's Sabbath we host a diaper drive.
