Adult Music

Adult Choir

Adult Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. and sings for both worship services Sunday mornings (with the choir dividing into 2 groups for services). During the Advent season, the choir presents a cantata.

Adult Handbells

Adult Handbells rehearse Wednesday evenings, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. The handbells share music in worship approximately every other month. The bells often combine with the choir for special anthems.

Taizé

The second Sunday of each month, LTUMC has a Taizé (tah-zay) worship service - a powerful, ecumenical candlelight communion service using the music of Taizé, France. These songs are easily recognizable, made up a simple phrase, repeated again and again. Singers and acoustic instrumentalists are welcome to come join the Taizé Ensemble for rehearsal at 4:30 p.m. and worship at 5:00 p.m. The ensemble would love to have guitars, cello or string bass, flute, clarinet, oboe, violin, and other acoustic instruments. For more information on Taizé, visit their website at: www.taize.com

Soloist Music In Worship

Soloists (vocal or instrumental) often share music in worship. We are blessed to have many talented musicians to share their gifts - vocalists, flutists, pianists, organists, and string players. We always welcome members to share their gifts.
