
Any student wishing to enter our preschool program must first be on our waitlist. Please download the Wait List Form, complete it and return it to our address along with a non refundable check for $25.00.
Wait List Forms will be organized into classes (Toddlers, 2’s, 3’s and Pre-K). Within each age group the Wait List Forms are divided into two categories. The first group is “LTUMC Families” which includes current church members (who are given priority) and siblings of currently enrolled students and siblings of alumni. The second group is “Prospective Families” which includes all families that do not qualify for the first group. Within both groups the Wait Lists will be kept in order by the date the form is received.
When you are on our Wait List it is for the next available opening – not a specific class. When an opening becomes available and your child’s name comes to the top of the list, we will call and email you and offer you placement in our preschool. (Please keep us up to date on any address or telephone changes so we will be able to reach you.) When we offer you a spot, you have 24 hours to respond. After that time we will move to the next person on the wait list.
Use of Wait List during Registration
At the completion of our In House Registration (which will begin February 2, 2011) we will contact our Wait List students to offer them all remaining openings. During this registration process, if we offer your child a spot that is not your first choice (and you accept it), we will guarantee your child this opening and then wait list your child on your first choice class. Should an opening become available prior to the start of the school year in the class of your choice, we will move your child to that class. We will make changes in class assignments up to one week before school starts in the fall.
If we offer you a spot and you do not respond, we will remove your name from our list. However, if you decline the spot yet inform us you wish to remain on our Wait List, we will keep your child’s information and move your name to the bottom of the list.
Use of Wait List during the School Year
If we experience an opening during the school year we will call and email you to offer you the spot. You will have 24 hours to respond. If you do not respond, we will remove your child’s name from our list and move to the next person. However, if you decline the spot yet inform us you wish to remain on our Wait List, we will keep your child’s information and move your child’s name to the bottom of the list.
For parents of twins or triplets: If we have one opening (and it is prior to the start of the school year) we will hold the spot for a couple of days to see if another opening develops. Once the school year begins we will offer the one spot to you and if you decline, we will continue to hold your children’s names at the top of the list, but offer the one opening to the next child in line.
