4th and 5th grade Tweens meet in fellowship once a month for God, games and pizza! We meet from noon - 1:30 PM.
September 23, October 22, November 19, December - TBD, January 28, February 25, March - TBD, April 22, May - TBD.
Calling all 1st through 3rd graders! We want you to join in on the fun! Club One2Three meets every other month in the Ministry Activity Center (MAC) for dinner, playtime and a short devotional. This is a time for the kids to just be kids, hang out, and have fun. This is a kid only program, so all you have to do is drop your kid(s) off at the door!
Each time Club One2Three meets there will be three host families to prepare the food and assist with the activities. We would like for this to be interactive for the host families, so that we as parents also get to know and form a bond with each other’s children. Our participation as parents is essential for the success of this program. Each family will be asked to host on a rotational system. If we all participate, then we should only have to host once every year!
We are very excited and hope to develop strong friendships among this age group and their parents that will last for many years to come as our children grown in Christ through Club One2Three, God Squad and Youth Group. We also encourage your kids to invite their friends to this new and exciting gathering.
Dinner is a $3 donation. Please make sure to RSVP on the e-vite, so our host family will know that you are coming.
If you are not currently on our e-vite list please contact one of the following people and we will be happy to add your family.
We will see you there!

Two family picnics are held each year, as well as a mid-year outing to bowl, go to the movie, play games, etc.
Tweens meet together for Sunday School so that we can put extra emphasis on their opportunities to build relationships as well as learn God's stories of faith and discipleship.
This four-day camp is for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. It is held early in June at Mt. Wesley in Kerrville. LTUMC Tweens have attended for the past eight years.
Meets during Wednesday Night Live. It is a Bible study that uses the kids' energy, enthusiasm and cooperation through games and group activities.
The Tweens concentrate on a 'hands on' mission project each semester, through Sunday School or GOD SQUAD.
Tweens meet during Wednesday Night Live as a choir to rehearsal and prepare to sing in worship. Their participation helps to enrich their understanding of worship experiences.
Tweens are introduced to puppet ministry and ringing chimes. This is an inviting and introductory time for them, so they can look forward to serving on the Youth Puppet Team and being in the Youth Bell Choir.
Tweens are invited to participate in the annual Children’s Christmas program. It is a short-term program that offers kids an opportunity to use their energy, drama and voices in different ways. It also allows them, as children, a special way to share God's story.
Tweens are a part of VBS; but we realize that they have their own unique style and attitudes, so we do VBS for them in an appealing way for them. The kids find it to be active, relational and exploratory.
when interest is shown, classes are offered for Tween parents, specifically to explore the unique needs of this age group.
Some years we have had a special lock-in here at the church, depends on interest
Tweens are an important part of the Children's Sabbath celebration. They acolyte, usher, design displays or banners, read and participate in worship, etc.
Tweeners are eligible to train as acolytes and serve during the Sunday worship services.
