UMW Circles are small groups of women who share fellowship, support each other, and grow in the faith.
The Susanna Wesley Circle meets on the third Thursday of the month at 9:45 a.m. at member's homes. Guests are always welcome. We have a coffee time, devotional, program and a short business meeting. We do not meet in June, July, and August. Current officers are: Betty Haley - President, Nancy Rhue - Secretary, and Betsey Dykes - Treasurer. Programs are varied, but usually include some of the UMW study information at some time during the year.
The Growing Friendship Circle meets the third Tuesday each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Wesley Room September-May. We offer fellowship, friendship, devotions and a program. We are usually finished by 8:30 p.m. so working women are particularly encouraged to attend. Members provide the programs which are varied and may include asking someone to come speak on a topic related to mission or service. Dessert and beverages are served. We also offer babysitting if 48 hours notice is given to the church office. Phone Debby Connors at 261-6163 for further information.
