United Methodist Women Purpose
The organized unit of Methodist women shall be a community of women whose purpose is:
• to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ;
• to develop a creative supportive fellowship and
• to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church

Meetings
12:00 noon - General Meeting - Usually the 4th Sunday immediately following the worship service. We meet on the following months in 2005: January, February, March, April, August, September and October. Meetings are held in the Wesley Room and include a light lunch and program.
9:45 a.m. - Morning Circle - 3rd Tuesday of each month from September through May. Meetings are held at the homes of the members. Call the church at 266-9877 for locations.
7:00 p.m. – Evening Circle – 3rd Tuesday of each month from September through May. Meetings are held at the church, and childcare is available upon request.

Activities
Preschool Teacher's Luncheon - UMW annually honors all the teachers and aides of Lake Travis United Methodist Preschool with a luncheon at the church in mid-May.
Fundraising Activities - Our fundraiser is our annual women's celebration called "Hats & Hallelujahs" held close to Mother's Day each year.
