On-Going Programs

Sunday School

Sunday School for all ages is held each Sunday at 9:40 and 11:00 a.m. Students in grades 6-12 gather for fellowship, announcements, and donuts in C10-11 in the Chesnutt Building.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship

Middle School meets from 6pm until 7pm for games, worship and lesson. Dinner is served for both Mid-High and High School from 7pm until 7:30pm. Then at 7:40, we have High School time with worship and message.

Puppet Ministry

The puppet team is composed of youth (6th grade through high school) who rehearse on Sunday nights from 5:00 to 5:45pm. Our puppet team performs for worship often and throughout the year at special programs. The team is also available for public performances.

Youth Choir

Middle School and High School ages are combined into one choir. The Youth Choir rehearses Sundays from 5:45-6:30 p.m. and sings in worship approximately every other month. In the spring the choir participates in the Southwest Texas Conference Annual Youth Choir Rally, a weekend gathering of approximately 500 Methodist youth who rehearse, sing in worship and fellowship together.

Youth Handbells

Middle School and High School ages are combined into one choir. The Youth Handbells rehearse on Wednesday nights from 7:00-7:45pm in the Music Room. They play in worship several times each church season and share their music outside the church by playing in the community for special events.

Wednesday Night Live

Wednesday Night Live is a fun, casual evening for all ages. Families on the go can have dinner and then stay for various music and educational opportunities. At 6:00pm the youth can hang out and play games in C10-11. Then at 6:30pm, we’ll come together for Christ Candle, a special prayer experience for all youth. At 7:00pm those involved with bells go to rehearsal until 7:45pm.
