LEADERSHIP NOMINATION & SELECTION PROCESS
The annual leadership nomination process has begun! We want to help you understand a bit more about this process and ask for your prayers for our church as we walk through it. Nominations for leadership close FRIDAY, OCT 17.
The Leadership Council at LTUMC is the Christ-centered leadership group that casts the vision, creates the strategy, and oversees the operations toward enabling the making of disciples for the transformation of the world.
The Nominations Committee prayerfully works to identify potential candidates. Once the recommended slate is complete with the people who will serve together with complementary knowledge, skills, and experiences, the slate is voted on by the Leadership Council and approved at the Annual Charge Conference.
Why are we sharing this with you? Two reasons. First, we would like you to pray for the people involved in the nominations process and the people who will lead our church in the year(s) to come. Secondly,
if during your prayer process, a person comes to mind you think might work well in a leadership position, please fill out the form below by Friday, Oct 17.
