In keeping with the LTUMC mission statement, "Discovering our purpose together through community, service and worship, to make disciples for Jesus Christ," Together We Serve will focus on these 3 key areas…
COMMUNITY
Together We Serve will bring our LTUMC community together to serve the greater Lakeway and Austin communities. It will be an intergenerational experience designed for all ages to serve others outside their typical social spheres.
SERVICE
Together We Serve is focused on serving others with dignity and with the love of Christ.
WORSHIP
Worship of God will be incorporated into each day and designed to be inclusive and for all ages.
2026 THEME: CALLED TO BUILD
Nehemiah rebuilds the wall — Nehemiah 2
Key Verse: For we are co-workers in God’s service. —1 Corinthians 3: 9
This theme centers on how God calls ordinary people—including families—to work together to restore, rebuild, and bring hope to their communities. Just like Nehemiah mobilized an entire community to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls, families will discover how their unique gifts can make a tangible difference when they serve side by side.
We'll be serving a variety of organizations during Together We Serve, including Burke Center for Youth, Partners in Hope, and CC4C, with more coming soon! Service activities will be appropriate for all ages — 3 years old and up. (Minors MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.)
$50/person or $125/family
Scholarships available, if needed.
